affiliate leads

A lot of my readers have been struggling to increase their affiliate leads and commissions. Thus, re-thinking the whole affiliate marketing industry all together.

I understand, it can be draining when you think you’ve done everything but just can’t see results.

Don’t despair!

Today, I am going to get right down to the juicy stuff and tell you 8 very effective ways you can increase your affiliate leads and commissions.

How To Increase Affiliate Leads & Commissions?

My number one advice to people who are getting involved in affiliate marketing or internet marketing is to invest in a good quality link tracking, analytics and optimization tool.

Once you invest in a tool like this, it is important that you also do the following:

1. Create A Sense Of Urgency

Urgency is the root of productivity. It is also a strong sense of importance that requires swift action before it’s too late. That sense of urgency is what drives a visitor into a customer. Therefore, it is important that you implement strategies that enhance that feeling.

Creating urgency could be as simple as using popups to add a countdown timer or expiry date to your offer. This is an awesome way to give people an incentive to by now versus later. Furthermore, it will increase your affiliate leads and commissions.

2. Learn From Your Mistakes

Winston Churchill, once said “All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes” which is so true.

A lot of affiliate marketers make the mistake of repeatedly sending the same traffic to the same page that they didn’t buy from the first time.

If they didn’t buy from you the first time, chances are that they are not really interested and are probably not going to buy a second or third time.

Therefore, I strongly advise that you; redirect that traffic or rotate multiple clicks from the same person to a different version of your sales landing page or a completely different site.

Furthermore, I advise you really keep track of your conversions and see which of your sales pages are bringing in the most revenue so you can make alterations accordingly.

3. Collect Opt-ins To Generate Affiliate Leads

It is a general internet marketing fact that “the money is in the list”. Therefore, my number one rule for you is to start collecting email opt-ins to increase your affiliate leads.

When you have a a good mailing list, your can begin to follow up with them, promote other related products and increase your chance of converting!

Remember, email marketing is still one of the best marketing platforms to exist.

One way you can start increasing your leads and collect email opt-ins is to use subscription popups.

4. Test Your Pain Away

Another excellent and effective way to increase your affiliate leads and commissions is to a/b test your sales pages. If you’ve read my previous posts, you would know that I’m a fond believer of “being in the know”.

The more knowledge you have about the effect your sales page has on your visitors, the more power you have. Being in the dark about whether a sales page is doing well or not is horrible marketing practice.

That’s why, we should be so thankful for a/b testing. It allows us to create more than one variation of a sales page, distribute equal traffic to them and then tells us which page has the most affiliate leads and commissions. With this kind of information, your only road should be success.

5. Geographically Target Your Traffic

Geo-targeting is another key method that will help increase your affiliate leads and commissions. Therefore, It’s real important that you study your niche.

Furthermore, do not waste a single click on countries or location that you know damn well are not going to be interested.

So, please, Geo-target your traffic to countries that are in high demand of the product you’re selling or promoting.

6. Take Advantage Of Social Media

With about 2 billion people using social media nearly every single day of their live, its not a bad idea to take advantage of it!

News can spread like wild fire over social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, Snap Chat, YouTube and more. So, start sharing your blog, website, affiliate link and sales pages.

7. Cloak & Shorten Those Ugly Affiliate Links!

Another great way to increase your affiliate leads and commissions is to cloak and shorten your long and unattractive affiliate links. By doing this, you make them more appealing to your visitors and increase your affiliate leads.

In addition to increasing your affiliate leads, you will help prevent commissions theft.

8. Mobile Target Your Traffic

Is your sales page or website mobile friendly?

Because according to ComScore, 57% of consumers use a smartphone to browse the internet.

That means that if your site is not mobile friendly, you’re decreasing your chance of increasing your affiliate leads by over 50%. That”s crazy!

Therefore, I strongly urge that you ensure your site is mobile friendly, or redirect that traffic to another mobile friendly site.  Do not miss out on big opportunities because of one small problem.

In Conclusions

Finally, if you do all of the following things, then I have no doubt that you will increase your affiliate leads and commissions. Just stay focused, keep up to date with market trends and love what you do! 🙂

      Hi Jorge,

I am so glad that you have found my post helpful. I had a look at your website and would just like to give you a quick tip that will really help you increase your visitor engagement and subscriptions. That is to let your visitors see what your website is all about before you demand their email. The way that your website is displayed will only repel potential customers as you do not give them access to what you are offering or writing about unless they provide you with an email. This approach that you are using is very confronting and not at all engaging and can come across as a scam. Always remember that your customers are human beings with emotions and free will.

I hope my advice will help you a little bit 🙂

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

      Kind regards,
